Eating for Digestive Health
Kim can help you eliminate or lessen symptoms of heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, bloating/gas, skin problems, chronic unhappiness, and poor sleep using nutritional approaches like digestive rest/intermittent fasting, food elimination, and thoughtful supplementation. Kim will identify your specific digestive health concerns, design a customized plan, prescribe appropriate supplements, and monitor your progress.
“Kim believes in the 80/20 rule. 80% of the foods you eat should be healthy foods that serve your body well and 20 % of the foods you eat are the ones that make life fun.”
Healthy Weight
Kim empowers you with healthy weight tools so you can attain and maintain the right weight for your body and live your life with sustainable, health-promoting habits. These tools include understanding your thoughts about food, managing cravings and overeating, writing menus/food plans, grocery shopping skills, thoughtful supplementation, and regular monitoring of progress and modification needs.
“It is impossible to exercise your way out of a poor diet.” Especially if you are a woman in Perimenopause and menopause.
Are you curious about low-carb eating, high protein/high-fat diets, or perhaps you are exploring a ketogenic diet? Kim will explore all types of eating with you. She believes that the way you eat should be something you love and can do for the rest of your life. No one food plan works for everyone, you deserve a plan that is customized to you in your own stage of life.
Children with Complex Health Needs
Kim has 25+ years of experience working as a pediatric nutritionist with families who have children with complex health needs such as premature birth, neuromotor disorders, failure to thrive, food allergy, developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.
She has a proven track record of helping families resolve feeding concerns, initiating home blended formulas for tube feeding, weaning off tube feeding, and broadening the diets of selective eaters. She uses a unique approach that gets to the root of feeding problems and puts an effective plan in place. While working with the child, Kim uses life coaching to help parents feel more empowered and confident.
